How to apply a discount to my estimate?

Applying discounts in the estimate is as simple as getting your job done since you are an expert at it. And with an InvoiceOwl app, you would easily be able to apply discounts and reflect them into your customer’s copy.

Web App

• Click on Estimate
• Tap on create an estimate or open already created one
• Add details as required
• Below the Item section, you will see a price break-up
• Under the same breakup, you will find Discount
• Tap on Add button
• Select percentage or figure
• Add percentage or figure
• Click on save

iOS/Android

• On the homepage, tap on Estimate
• Create a new one
• Add details as required
• Below the Item section, you will see a price break-up
• Under the same breakup, you will find Discount
• Tap on Add button
• Select percentage or figure
• Add percentage or figure
• Click on save

What if you’ve already created an estimate and you want to make changes to that particular estimate? Now the case with the mobile version is different. 

When you open an already existing estimate, you have to follow the following steps:

• Tap on the Edit tab
• Below the Item section, you will see a price break-up
• Under the same breakup, you will find Discount
• Tap on Add button
• Select percentage or figure
• Add percentage or figure
• Click on save

The discount will be reflected under the discount section. Upon clicking on save, you would be redirected to the main window again. Save your estimate again.
