How do I add taxes on items?

When adding items to your software, you get the option “Add Tax

Web App

  • Click on the “items” on the left-hand side row
  • Tap on “Add new item
  • Add necessary details
  • Scroll down to the “Taxes” section
  • Click on “+ Add Tax
  • Under pop-up, add tax name, rate, and type
  • Enable the button to the “Apply this tax to all items
  • Click on “Add


  • Click on the menu button in the upper left corner
  • Scroll down to the “Items” section
  • Tap on the “+” button to add a new item
  • Add necessary details
  • Scroll down to the “Add Tax” section
  • Click on “Add
  • Add tax label, percentage, tax type
  • Enable the button for “Applying Tax to all items

You can even set it once apart from adding taxes when creating invoices.

Go to Settings

Under Document Settings, click on Taxes

Click on Add Tax in the upper right corner

Enter Tax Label

Enter Standard Rate

Enter Type

Enable Apply to this all item button

Save it

That’s how you would be able to add the tax to your items.
